I love love love flowers and was so excited when Ryan got us tickets for the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point!! The festival is acres and acres of perfectly landscaped gardens with half a million tulips of every color and shape imaginable.
It was so nice and relaxing to just walk around, but we had to dodge all the old people on the golf carts and do our best to not get blown away!
They have a pond with tons of fish in it... we had a good time throwing the fish food in and watching them attack each other for it. We also saw an owl on the rocks sitting on it's baby... we waited hoping to see the baby come out and walk around, but it was too windy.

ReplyDeleteHey blondie!! Its been awhile! I too LOVED the tulip festival this year. I wanted to rent a golf cart though, as I am due in 2.5 weeks! Crazy how time flies. You are getting married this week!! Congrats, I wish you the best. Where will you be living?
