Island Park...

I know it has taken me forever to update my blog... I have been really stressed and taking care of a lot of things in order to get my life situated.  This past weekend I felt like I needed to get away from it all, so I went up to Island Park, ID to go camping with my Dad... I made Darcee come a long for the adventure!
We went up Friday night, Darcee was convinced that I got us lost and that we would never get there... but of course she was wrong.  It was late when we got there, so we just sat by the fire and then slept in our own little tent.  Darcee was freaking out, because she said the tent was for midgets and my dog Okie kept walking on her side... it was so funny to watch.

Saturday was a fun, relaxing day... we rode bikes, 4-wheelers, played games, and mostly just hung out at the camp site around the fire.  Some of my step-mom's side of the family were there along with their friends... and there was this 8 year old boy, Wayne... aka little Wayeford, who the entire time cracked us up.
First off, he walked like a T-Rex, and every time he passed by me he looked at me like I had some sort of disease.  I had left the fire for a bit and while I was gone Darcee thought it would be funny to convince him that I wore diapers... so when I came back to camp he asked me if I wore diapers and called me diaper girl.  So, I convinced him that she wet the bed... and the rest of the trip he kept telling calling her pee girl.  It was so hilarious... I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my entire life!!
Sunday we ventured out to Yellowstone... Darcee had never been and I had not been since I was like 12 or 13.  The park was gorgeous, it was neat to see all the animals.  We didn't make it to too many sites, but of course we went to Old Faithful.

Originally, we had planned to stay till Monday morning, but after Yellowstone it was raining and cold, so we were done... we drove back home that night.  It was such a fun and needed get away for me, and it was nice to spend some time with my Dad.  Thank you so much Darcee for coming.
