Tulip Festival...

I love love love flowers and was so excited when Ryan got us tickets for the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point!! The festival is acres and acres of perfectly landscaped gardens with half a million tulips of every color and shape imaginable.

It was so nice and relaxing to just walk around, but we had to dodge all the old people on the golf carts and do our best to not get blown away!

They have a pond with tons of fish in it... we had a good time throwing the fish food in and watching them attack each other for it. We also saw an owl on the rocks sitting on it's baby... we waited hoping to see the baby come out and walk around, but it was too windy.

Bachelorette Party!!

So, thanks to my fabulous best friend Erika, I had the BEST bachelorette party last night! I invited some of my closest friends... including Natasha and Heidi (unfortunately Amy and Darcee could not make it).

We went to Tepanyaki (one of my most favorite restaurants)... and had the funniest cook. He was throwing the shrimp into our mouths and the 1st one I caught, but then he threw one right after and it scared me and I pretty much threw my plate at him and almost hit Erika in the face with my fork! It was hilarious! Then he kept throwing the shrimp and hit Erika in the face over and over again.

Erika got me a veil, a banner thing to wear that said bachelorette and a button that said kisses for a buck. It was really cute and funny watching people stare. After dinner we went to a comedy club called Wise Guys at Trolley Square. I was absolutely hilarious... I was almost in tears from laughing! I think listening to Natasha laugh was almost as funny as the comedians. I really had a great time and thanks to everyone who made it!!

Finally!!

Yes... it has been FOREVER since I have updated or even thought about my blog. Ryan and I are engaged and to be married in less than a month!! May 8th in Nampa, Idaho. I am so excited... I honestly never thought I would be so lucky as to meet someone like him. He is my best friend, my other half, my everything. I feel like the luckiest girl in the whole wide world. I love everything about it, especially the way he looks at me. I am so excited to start our life together and know that he is going to be the best husband a girl could ever ask for!
